We left for Marilleva on 27th and traffic was a killer cos instead of 4hr we drove for nearly 7hr just to get there. Our little apartment has magnificent wood finished, typical of a mountain house, consist of a living/dining/kitchenette/patio downstairs and 3 bedrooms upstairs that can sleep up to 8 pax..pretty good. The best part was we have the snow literally right at our doorstep..if you bother to take about less than 50 steps.

My maestro Ale & I

Me snowboarding independently

All shagged!

I had lessons from Ale a very cool snowboard maestro; he speaks reasonable English, good enough for our own understanding. It's either he's a really good instructor or I am a excellent student cos within 2-4hr, I am able to snowboard..of cos the basics but Andrea told me that he said he is proud of me. Well he did say that to me, saying it's surprisingly that a girl from Asian who has never had snow in her country can learn so fast and he's proud of me as his student! What can get better than that so is he good or am I just too good?? You judge :))) Jokes aside, I did had 1 hard fall on my butt & I thought I busted my ass for that good 3 seconds. To do snowboarding you had to stand in such an awkward position that hurt my tights real bad at the beginning but the gym did good, I am glad the gym worked otherwise I'd have to be carried down on a stretcher if I do not have strong legs.
Of cos Andrea feels the proudest for my achievement, as the same time he thinks it's investment well spend haha ... idiot!

One of the present from his mum, a beautiful make up set :) from Pupa, Milan

Me wearing one of the present from Andrea....My ultra comfy UGG boots!

The next day we had lunch at his parents place and more presents! I got a brilliant rose set of oil, body wash, lotion etc, a special 2009 calendar with pix of Andrea & I took during summer, a pretty little make up set which is so useful for me hehe, a pair of tights for the snow all from his sister and parents wow!!

I still have fond memories of the days just passed, I missed our laughter together, missed waking up to have him by my side, him putting what I call "elephant legs" over mine, forcefully putting my cold feet on all over him (he's scared of it haha), missed asking each other stuff, missing rambling non-stop and pointing out things as he drives, missed all his hugs and kisses, missed stroking his beautiful face while staring into his big dark eyes.....and these are going to stay very closed to my heart forever :)

Andrea is still in Italy, some unfinished business regarding work. His body check result came back, his stomach is still not good, so what's new haha. I just hope he'll feel better as time comes. But this time round, he wasn't that bad to start with, his stomach did not give as much problem as previous times which is a good sign.

This holiday was kind of chaotic for me as I was forced to stay in Rome at Franko's place (his colleague) due to air strike..How nice, times like this I missed Singapore. Took the earliest train, 1st class to La Spezia Centro which is about 10min drive home, yes our beautiful, humble home. Nothing's changed, just feels warm and familiar with love.

Missing luggages were picked up bout a day later from Pisa airport and boy was I glad cos I had presents of his parents in side. However, as lucky as we would like to be, the water heater wasn't working and we ended up heading to Miki's place for shower.

X'mas was nice and the food brilliant. Giuseppe had his mother and sister there, nice folks. It was the 1st meeting of both families which means wedding bells are on the way. Silvia had a surprised x'mas gift of a ring from Giuseppe, you could see the embarrassment glow on her face, priceless.

We headed home to open our presents as well. I am very lucky as I always get marvellous presents from Andrea and I hope he thinks the same about my presents for him too :) It's definitely from the heart.

Another milestone in our relationship, it's been more than 1 years that we have since been officially been together, I am enjoying every seconds of it and is still doing it.

Just got back from a brilliant winter holiday in Italy with the man of my life. I did not managed to spend X'mas last year due to work but as usual we did the x'mas tree just like before. We commented that it's about time we changed a different theme for our tree and blue with sliver sounds beautiful :)

It feels great to be in Italy with Andrea, in fact I know it's gonna feel good no matter where we are but in Italy we have a place call our own which is our special piece of heaven.

X'mas dinner this time was at Silvia, his sister's place together with Guiseppe. Both parents of Andrea was there, so was Guiseppe's mum & his sister. It was the 1st meeting since marriage is on the card for both. I am happy for them without a doubt, they are both made for each other.

On the 27th, we headed up to the mountain for some snow actions with some others.

I am starting to have shoulder pain so that's it for now... I will update the rest of our trip asap :)
